Sea buckthorn has a long history of use, having been used by Indian and Tibetan Ayruvedic practices for more than a millennium. In fact, it has been called a "wonder plant" in many Asian countries. Sea Buckthorn fruit features a variety of naturally-occurring compounds, including palmitoleic acid (omega-7), carotenoids, tocopherols, flavonols and phenolic acids. Sea Buckthorn is a hardy, deciduous shrub native to Central Asia and Europe and now grows in North America. Contains no added yeast, sugar, salt, starch, soy, wheat, gluten, dairy, artificial colors, preservatives or artificial products.
